State of Michigan Home Energy Rebates

Michigan received $210 million from the U.S. Department of Energy as part of the Inflation Reduction Act to help owners and some renters with energy-efficiency and electrification projects through two programs.

  • Home Energy Rebates: Lower your upfront cost on efficiency upgrades.
  • Home Electrification and Appliance Rebates: Lower the cost of efficient electric technologies.

Please note that these programs are managed directly by the State of Michigan and not MEC. For more information visit Michigan's Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy
