For customers with large wind or solar generation systems
You will receive a credit for excess energy produced by your system and not consumed by you in accordance with the applicable standard service tariff.
Details
You pay the full retail rate and will receive a lump-sum credit once per year for excess generation. The credit is based on the Hourly Real Time Locational Marginal Price at the Midcontinent Independent System Operator’s (MISO) CONS.WOLV node. MEC will receive the credit from our power supplier, Wolverine Power Cooperative, by Feb. 28 each year, and the credit will appear on your next normal bill.
